Juggling is about having fun making objects follow your lead. Learn and try ways to juggle under unusual circumstances: long train commutes, in a chair or bed, wearing a cast, filling time between shows, brain-break at a desk.
Heidi Haney and Laura Shub (Miz Tilly) share and grow this class every chance they get. They bring along a chocolate factory’s worth of props, toys, and objects to play with. This session intends to expand the concept of juggling, with the goal of keeping people moving their hands and brains at any age.
Phrases like “well, I sometimes..”, “how about..?”, and “ooh, what if..?” are encouraged as we enjoy a playdate together. Collaboration and demonstration are part of the event – participants are welcome to show and tell items that work well for them in confined situations and to ask about solutions for a personal concern.
A handout of gathered ideas is provided and will be expanded after the workshop.
